The Bible shows that it is God's plan for all believers to belong to a church, a spiritual home. Anyone who has accepted Jesus as their savior has become part of God's worldwide church. As a believer, the individual then finds his place in a local congregation, where he can both serve and be served.

Membership is primarily based on the individualĀ“s faith, that one is a professing Christian. It is important to spend some time in the congregation before applying for membership. During this period, you get to know the vision, objectives and preaching of the church, and you get to meet different leaders and employees. An important part of the process is to find your place in a connect group, where you can get to know the others better, and grow and develop as a believer.

Why become a member?

The church was born on the day of Pentecost, and all who were saved on that day were added to the church (Acts 2:46-47). Jesus loves the church, and gave himself for it (Eph. 5:25).

God clearly shows through His Word that in order to grow and develop as believers, we need the church, where together with all the others we can become all that God has called us to be (Eph. 4:7-16).

Membership gives a sense of belonging and ownership, and means that each of us does not face the storms of life alone, but together we can get through the challenges we face.
